Sibelco sands starring in golf event & olympic training facility

CONI (National Italian Olympic Committee) and FIG (Italian Federation of Golf) are utilising Sibelco’s range of sport sands for their new projects and events. The materials are being used to develop a new olympic training facility dedicated to beach volleyball/beach soccer and also at the golf course where “Open d’Italia” was played.

Giving back land for nature conservation

On 20 July 2021, Sibelco in the Netherlands transferred a first piece of land, 51 of the 118 hectares of the Sibelco Heerlen quarry, to Natuurmonumenten, a Dutch nature conservation organisation.
