The assessment covers four key pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Sibelco underwent a group assessment, covering all its subsidiaries globally. For each answer provided, Sibelco had to provide documents as proof, which were assessed by an independent auditor of EcoVadis.
We are glad to report that Sibelco scored 60/100, placing us in the top 13% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the industry of 'Quarrying of stone, sand, and clay’. A sustainable business model is key to ensuring long-term success, and this achievement demonstrates our commitment to responsible business practices.
