Mr. Traber joined Sibelco in June 2025 as Executive Vice President, APAC. He is a seasoned global executive in the construction materials industry, with extensive experience in operational leadership, business transformation, and sustainability.
Prior to joining Sibelco, Mr. Traber served as Acting CEO of Fletcher Building in New Zealand, having previously been the Chief Executive of the Concrete Division. In these roles, he successfully led the company through a pivotal transition, delivering on key strategic priorities.
He also spent 18 years at Holcim, holding a variety of senior leadership positions across Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. His roles included CEO of Holcim Switzerland & Italy, CEO of Holcim Ecuador, and Global Head of Health and Safety. Throughout his tenure, he drove operational excellence and sustainable growth while championing sustainability and advancing circular economy initiatives.
Mr. Traber holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Zurich and has completed several prestigious executive education programs, including the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and the Future Leadership Program at IMD Lausanne.
