Mr. Mouthuy joined Sibelco in October 2025. He has over 20 years of international experience and is recognized as a trusted business leader with proven track record in driving performance, change and transformation. Most recently, he was Vice-President of Group Finance at Syensqo. From 2013 to 2023, Laurent held several senior leadership roles at Solvay, including Global Head of Group Controlling, CFO for Latin America, and Global Finance Director for the Silica and Aroma Global Business Units. He also played a critical role in the demerger of Solvay and the creation of Syensqo.
Earlier Mr. Mouthuy worked in Corporate Banking at BNP Paribas Fortis and in CFO consulting at PwC, advising a wide range of multinational clients.
Mr. Mouthuy holds a Master of Science in Management from Solvay Business School, and has completed several prestigious executive education programs.
